Atom HR is hiring an experienced Chief Accountant, for a production company in Orăștie.

Responsabilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Romanian accounting standards and current legislation.
• Manage all tax-related activities, including tax calculation, reporting, filing, and communication with local tax authorities.
• Oversee the general ledger and perform periodic account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to collect financial information and provide support for business decision-making.
• Assist with internal and external financial audits.
• Maintain and update accounting records and financial documentation.

Requirments:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within manufacturing companies.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
